Wow!  I can’t believe Christmas is here!  It finally snowed and now I’m in the mood for Christmas!  Especially after seeing NY all decorated up, it is so pretty this time of year!  We didn’t have a booth at the Greater NY Dental meeting but I was able to go and train the Patterson Reps and they were selling Dental R.A.T.’s there!  The Patterson Reps are catching on fast!  We’ve been traveling (Rob mostly) to as many Patterson branches as we can get to for demos.   They are a great company, I’m so happy that they are helping us get the word out there!

I also had a great trip to Portland to meet with First Pacific group in Salem.  They were such a great group of people and the more I use the First Pacific software (The Complete Exam) the more I like it!!  Another one I need to add to our list, I’m working on another video.

We also got picked in a survey in Dental Products Report as one of the “Top 10 of 2008″!!   Wow!!  They picked us as one of the top perio products, what a nice surprise!!

I feel so blessed to have so many great people recommending our product!

So we just got back from San Antonio, TX!  The ADA was huge and people were still shopping and buying!  It was so nice to see that things aren’t as bad as the TV says!  I won’t even get on that soapbox:).  But, I did learn about “The Economic Stimulus Act of 2008″ giving doctors a huge reason to buy more equipment!  A lot of people were talking about taking advantage of it this year so I thought I’d share it.

This is a big change in the tax law.  I am not a CPA so I will give you a link to one from Dental Economics.  Its section 179 and it basically doubles the equipment writeoffs plus a bonus depreciation is available for newly acquired dental equipment.  Here is the article in Dental Economic magazines Sept issue, pg 60.  Section 179

So basically you can help the hygienists perio chart by themselves and get a great tax benefit!
